The Judging Process
- The judging panel will be made up of a panel as determined by the Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber
- The judging process will involve marks being allocated for each question – the number of points per question is stated on each nomination form
- Judges will be excluded from judging a category where they have a conflict of interest
- There will be up to three rounds of judging: The initial round will select a shortlist of the best applications per category. The second round of judging (if required) will develop a list of finalists and the third round will involve a site visit to each shortlisted business by a delegation of judges
- On request, the Chamber will provide feedback to entrants regarding their entries, after the Gala Presentation Night. This information should be useful to businesses in benchmarking and developing best practice policies
- The judges decisions are final! In the event of a disagreement between judges, a third party/independent opinion may be sought
- Nominations will be destroyed eight weeks after the ‘Gala Night of Nights’ to ensure confidentiality
- All entries are treated as CONFIDENTIAL and all members of the judging panel will be required to complete a confidentiality agreement prior to viewing any submitted entries.
