What a fantastic night of celebration! Over 200 guests helped celebrate this year’s Great Lakes Business Awards 2011 at the Tuncurry Bowling Club. It was a great excuse to get dressed up and party.
The night was a celebration of local excellence with the best of the best being honoured for their hard work and success. There was plenty of excitement all round, but particularly when everyone was informed of the two winners for Excellence in Marketing. The judges had debated fervently and were unable to reach a decision on one winner, so decided to give two businesses the accolade. Overall the majority of categories were extremely competitive and it was very difficult for the judges to pick the winners.
Free Spirit Cruises stole the show with three winning categories including the highest honour of all, Business of the Year 2011. This was so well deserved, Peter Mannow of Free Spirit Cruises is passionate about the Great Lakes, tourism & the environment. If you take a trip on his boat you will really understand what I mean. So to the winners……..
